No people just don't understand that every cant skateboard. ..you have to pay attention to detail. ..its just not opening doors and backing up to a door...it takes actual work to skateboard. ..some people cant handle it or just wasnt taught right

Yep. He damages it his insurance pays for it. Problem is then WE have to go back to OUR customer and tell them their freight is damaged. How much damaged freight you think a customer is going to put up with before they look for another carrier? So yes, I care more about the freight then the driver.

Anybody that is that dense really doesn't deserve a lot of direction. It wouldn't do much good.

Jumbo and Supatrucka, I was going to hold back and not turn this into a bigger issue, but I'm waiting on a forklift anyway, so I might as well jump in:

Nowadays, we see it happen all the time where one driver tries to help another and it just makes everybody angry. So you think to yourself, "Fine. I won't help anybody again."

But notice that Jumbo has been a driver for 20 years.

20 years ago here is how the conversation would go:

Jumbo: Hey, man. That's going to damage the freight. A better way to do it is to run your straps like this.
Driver: So one strap this way?
Jumbo: Well, actually two straps this way.
Driver: Got it. I usually haul lumber and somebody got sick so I'm just helping out. Never done this kind of load before today. Thanks a lot for the help. I owe you a cup of coffee next time.
Jumbo: No problem. Have a safe trip.

A lot of people hesitate to try to help these days because it seems to lead to an argument.
It used to be a lot better...

Sad to say but Lastkid is right.
It is the reason why i walk away instead off saying something.

BigJ, thank you for the cool pic. I don't know how you keep your equipment so clean, but it looks sharp.

    Supatrucker,
have you hauled to the new Baker Hughes terminal in Bakersfield? I'm a Colorado boy, so when I parked in their lot it was the first time my truck has ever been parked under a palm tree. They all thought I was crazy to jump out and take a pic of my truck under a palm tree.

    BigJls1 and Offender Thank this.
