The same load that I took out to Cali I brought back to Indiana. I ended up unloading the truck in Denver and then again in Vegas for it to be driven. It didn't take me that long to swap them out in Denver. In Vegas when I went to load it up it took me 3 hours start to finish. I was being a little OCD about just how the truck was on the trailer. I wanted that truck centered perfectly side to side. It would be off by two inches. I would get back in it and straighten it out, or so I thought and then recheck it. It was loaded slightly crooked in Denver and it bothered me all the way to Vegas but when I was done in Vegas I was happy with the way it was. Ended up using 4 chains holding it back and 4 chains holding it forward on a 20,000 lbs truck. I truly enjoyed running that trailer. Just wish my company would let us do more of that.

I've only got 4 months driving otr flatbed so when in doubt especially with a new or odd load I throw every strap I have.

You did a good job MD scales would approve. If only one strap over those in the middle (as Rugerfan) since they don't appear to actually touch (may just be the angle) they would give you grief.

    Chewy352 Thanks this.

Straps can move too easy on round stuff imo. Plus 2 is one and 1 is none. I've put two straps on a single pallet of stuff before and my buddy asked me why. I told him if dot tells me one of my straps is bad I can say we'll I'm still good with this one then.

That's corrugated plastic pipe isn't? I'm curios MJ, what do you call that pipe in your part of the world? We call it ADS or N12, I'm always fascinated by regional differences in terminology.
