    Hah! Actually, I take hwy 11 all the way up, not hwy 17. Most guys do because of the terrain. This load of concrete weighs approx. 87,xxx lbs. I've been sitting around here at a truck stop 5 minutes down the road from the job site since 3pm--it feels like I had today off! Forgetting about the fact that I ran all night long right through until 3pm... Won't deliver until 1pm tomorrow. Yeah I ran a hell of a lot harder to get up here faster than I needed to hahah.

    What can I say? I love it.

    Have you ever been to any of the mines north of Cochrane? I might have to run a load 120 miles north of there. Not sure exactly where yet.

    Not this one! Mine is a lease truck... Lease is up in a few weeks or months. I was running up here with another driver in a company owned truck and he said he was almost running into the back of me on the hills I was slowing down that much.

    But anyway, nope... We run DD15s, not sure what they're running HP wise but I'm sure they're at a nice economical rating.

    The curved ones supposed to be 11k so not much. I was supposed to get 2 of the curved bundles but it was too wide. They wanted to stack them but I wasn't too comfortable with it. I told them they could do it but if I didn't like it it was coming off. The guy was irritated and said he didn't have time for all that and they would just give me this and order another truck. Fine by me.

    Side question. They're only 28" long. Could I have had one hanging about 8' off the back? Or is it always a no go being od with a divisible load?

    You meant 8' (ft) or was it 8"(inches)?
    What size trailer? Did the curved pieces go from edge to edge wide? Looks like it but if a few extra inches on each side might allow interlocking with proper twist!
    I over hang a couple ft over every now and again with divisible loads. In CO ran one with 8' overhang and just a red flags but up to 10' before permit in CO but most states are 4'.
    So depends on states you run!
    Oh and I won't clam to be 100% right on the regs just as I understand them. :)
