Seem to be lucky especially Chicago area and pre-planned out right away just slow traffic and a double pickup.
I seem to get the delivery closes at 3:30 and I'm 4 hrs away just loaded at noon. LOL

There is that! Think I Decided it's running ok (fuel milage sucks tho) going plug on hard a few weeks get back to the good a take a week or two off to replace all fuel and air hoses, completely redo the breaks again with new slacks S cams shoes and drums, pull everything from block forward and replace all gaskets, and pull hood and use metal straps to repair. Or just do one at a time but seems to never get done that way have all the seals and gaskets already just never the time. I'm slow figure it will take 2-3 days just for that project.
The hoses got to take them all off and to the hoses shop to get new made.

Anyone know of a sight class that won't restrict the return line all I find seem to small but I need to know if I am getting air thinking a bad injector seat is causing my sporadic pressure problem.
Started doing the rough idle the other day pressure gauge was not reading anything and at 1500 rpms 20psi till it smoothed out then 45 idle and 65 1500 which is still 20# lower than it should be.

Now I like our loads.... Showed up at 9 am on Monday because that was the unload time. Crane operators got there 15 minutes after we did (we were a little early) but is was noon before we started getting unloaded because they had not set up the cranes. Hell the bridge was out, why could they not set them on Friday? The cranes were already there.

As for equipment moves, most of the time there is no one around when we pickup and/or deliver so there is no waiting at all. I carry a CAT key on my keyring and have another 3" keyring with just about any key under the sun.

I carry a CAT key as well. But my good key ring is in my vent system has most other major heavy-equipment keys on it. Deere Komatsu Case mainly.

if you don't have a big key ring with all the different keys then you aint a heavyhauler!! just don't forget the key ring and leave it in a machine. gets pricy when you have to replace them or turn around and go back!! DONT ask me how I know this!

No sitting waiting for an operator to drive back to the site with the key that's in his pocket, plus doing repo work

That is a beautiful thing. I wouldn't mind trying RGN/Lowboy/Oversize Equipment/Real Heavy hauling...
