    @johndeere4020
    Does that hitch plate need to be bolted/unbolted or does it have some kind of receiver and pins??
    Also was wondering if you guys have two lowboys and move both halves at the same time or if you must stage a loader, or other big iron at the destination to unload the tub?? so you can go get the Horse?

    The truck has a "sub frame" that bolts on where the bed goes, the scraper neck has triangle shaped adapter that drops down in the hitch. It's s little hard to describe but the rear of the triangle goes in first then the front drops down and s single pin pushed in to hold it. Then there's 3 hydraulic lines a grease line and an electrical connection. You can literally unhook it in 2 minutes. We have two lowboys so we back it on with the truck then travel together. All of the connections are on the front and really no way to get them out of the way so we're afraid to try to push on it. At this point we're still learning.

    20151117_071546.jpg 20151117_071438.jpg The loaders were suprised/annoyed at all my straps. I guess they had to stay with me while I'm out of my truck in the pipe yard. Didn't bother me though.

    I've got a second pick up near baton Rouge hence the pipe to the rear instead of centered. I could not get ahold of anyone at the second shipper to find out how much space I needed and the broker didn't know. With so much uncertainty I should have loaded the pipe overhanging the front to save deck space but the broker said to load it this way and if the second pick didn't fit it wouldn't be a problem.

    Shhhh......... Don't let the door slammers know they can go that way. They can have the Chicago route. I will keep to the North every time. Snow or no snow.

    Unloaded the tile plow in Waseca on Friday. Went to yard and got oil change and grease job done then relaxed all weekend. Finally got a load today, headed down to Davenport and picked this up heading to Bismarck, ND once overweight permits come in.

    These were pretty small by comparison to the ones we hauled earlier this year. Only 65' long and 55k. Just had to use the stretch trailers for these ones. I did not get a photo of it on the truck but I did get a photo while I was waiting for the crane to pick mine.
