Most versitile trailer I have ever seen. (western states)
What scares the crap outta me is what all you guys do. Tarping? Those chainey lookin things that go on yer tires when it snows? And the truckstops? Ports of entry? Parking for 34 hours for who knows why?? I'll take loadin anything over the back instead of that. LoL. A tip of my hat to ya'll.

The first job where I was The Driver, was a single axle dump with a tag trailer,

Everything goes over the back, and
The ground is a bit farther away!!
Even with flip down ramps some beavertails are quite steep!!
They get rather slippery in the rain.
And even with feet on the ramps, you can take enough weight off the drives to make the whole thing take off down hill when your halfway up!!!!

    Lots a Learning went on.....

It was so nice to move up to a Hyd RGN Lowboy, even though it was ground bearing.
    Even that being said,
If I could have any trailer,
It would be built to allow Tail Loading!!! So much easier in so many situations....

    Truckdad,

Is the Murray constantly off the ground when tail loading or does it drop to the ground up front like an rgn?

Not sure I follow the question but it IS a mechanical RGN. When loading over the back you just set the brakes and climb over the back, with or without the ramps, depending on the machine.

I didnt realize it was an RGN, then yea, we definitely could use one. There are probably times where having another option loading from the rear would be beneficial.

I did pull a Trailking with a hydraulic neck during 2012. 24' of deck space. I really liked it, sooo easy.

What are the details on that? Built on top of a golf cart's foundation? I know kits exist to turn pickups into 'mini' big rigs. In fact, I'm sure I actually saw one going down the road one day a few months ago... I never thought I'd see one in person!

This thing's tarp was soaked and a mess when it was put on... Anyway, here we go!
