    The way I read it was to,

    Strike while the iron is hot!

    Make hay when the sun shines!

    Collect on payday!

    Get it while the gettins good.

    Catchem while the fish are Bitin!

    Carpe the ####in diem outa it.

    Just depends on which rock you grew up under.

    Six,,, Am I on the correct page?

    @macavoy , @PeteyFixAll

    The point @TripleSix was so eloquently making was you keep dancing as long as the money is coming your way. Money slows or stops; get off the stage.

    Kinda flatbed right? My department just picked these up. Now I just wish we could have some grass fires the few days a month I'm actually home

    Chewy,

    I use to be on the volunteer FD in my hometown about 15 years ago, the year and a half that I served, the only flame I saw was a grass fire.

    I suppose I was lucky, about a year and a half before I joined there was a mobile home fire that claimed the life of someone in our age range and that kinda scarred some of them.

    They just had a bad wreck a few weeks ago. A pickup vs car head on about 60 mph. Two young girls died, mom was trapped and passenger in the pickup was trapped. In total 3 towns responded.

    Kinda glad I missed that one. But love me a good grass or car fire (when no ones hurt).
