Nice old 359's, when I was on the way to Florida we passed a real nice 359 converted to a motor home. It was a cream color, I would have never thought about that color but it was sharp!

I really enjoy seeing the older trucks, especially when someone has taken care of them, I think that all the older trucks, wether it's a pete, kw or a star, they have alot more character.

Niiiiiiiiiiiice pics. There's just something about a nice old truck. Says alot about the truck. Says alot about the driver. Says alot about the owner.

There are few things that give me more satisfaction than DOT cop asking me "What year is this truck?" and and then telling me "Your truck is in good shape Driver". My '86 has been on the job longer than all of the officers that do the inspections and my '98 has been on the job longer than most.

Kind of boring when what you haul is covered up. Anyway it's hardwood lumber. IMG_20151222_072212710.jpg IMG_20151222_072144606.jpg

Kentucky and tarping? Times must really be getting tough. Like the lettering. Friend of mine was leased for a while to a outfit named "Red Eye Express". We gave him all kinds of grief over that.

I hauled my normal stuff down so its an OK trip. Return load was originally a two stopper which made it barely acceptable. First stop was cancelled and it finals 30 miles from the house so it worked out nicely.

Tarps were bought used. Thought the name was kind of funny so we left it on them.
