    I do mine pretty much the same. Particularly with the chains across the front corners. I see lots and lots of guys who only strap or chain the sides with no thought as to what might happen to those plates in a collision or hard braking.

    No one will ever hassle you for over chaining that for sure.

    I can only imagine what one of those plates would do to the cab of my truck. I'd like to keep it that way.

    I just had a single chain in back to keep tension to the front chains.

    The only thing I would have done any different is to put something between the chains and the plate. Just an OCD thing with me. Good job driver.
