    I'd lose the strap over the generator.
    The wind will beat the paint and you will have a claim. Big no no with Kohler.

    IH Truck guy is correct. Cargo claim waiting to happen on the strap.
    Secure at the skid only with those people

    @IH Truck Guy @passingthru69
    I have carpeting where the strap touches the machine to prevent that, my first strap is over the frame but there is no room on the back and my chains do not fit on the eyelets so I did what I thought would be best. Strap is tight enough to secure without bending any metal

    If your chains won't fit,put a shackle on and use your chain on that.
    The carpeting can still scuff the paint.
    We had two of our guys get claims for that.
    One of them went to a riggers yard and they rejected it because they saw the strap over the unit.
