    True. However, most loads I see on B-trains in Western Canada is either lumber or steel, and they fill up both trailers. Most carriers I guess up-charge the freight cost (decidedly so) so most customers want to maximize the available space.

    What I meant was that in a tight spot you can split them to get out of a jam. Drop the back trailer and get the lead out of there then grab the rear trailer and get it out of there. Then you can connect them all again and good to go.

    That is a great pic why only hardwood 4x4s should be on a truck. I bet the bottom layer is hating life right now.

    I carry about 4 pieces of hardwood and 8 soft. Hardwood goes on the bottom. I would hate to carry nothing but hardwood and having to lug then around all the time.
