Single over 13 and 3.70's. I was always wanting to flip the gears for a .62 double over but now I can see that had bad idea written all over it.

The old man's had this one for the past 20 some years. 87 short hood. If I remember right it's got a bit over 2.5 million on the clock. IMG_20160204_120447923_HDR.jpg

That's my dream truck right there. 379 long hood, 550hp 6NZ, 288" wheelbase, 63" flat top, 6" bullhorn stacks (with as little muffler as I could afford legally), 359 headlights, Texas bumper, 18-speed (or a 5x4 if I can learn to drive it), 24" rubber and diff setup for 70mph.

Something like this (but with the longer wheelbase and sleeper and the right headlights):

Although, the more I look at this, the more it looks like a late model 379.

The turbo thing started with cat in the 70's, they put out a bunch of bad turbos and tried to blame everyone but themselves.

None of the local drivers around here cover them. The only place I've seen it done locally is when you pick up at Keene because it's their regulation.

Another load of bags running up to Red Lake, ON from Brantford, ON.

I think I'll go take my time getting a light fixed and try skipping rush hour through TO... Then run'er overnight again.

We've never covered our farm tractors either but the AGCO plant in MD makes you sign off that you did it.
