I'm right around 3k or so lighter with a hopper behind this truck vs the open deck trailers.

 

Instead of waiting until Monday to reload lumber again near here, I get to roll 10 hours away empty for a different load of lumber somewhere else. I can't believe I'm saying this but I would Really benefit/like more than this 70 hour/7 days window to work with, and I'm on paper! Maybe I work too hard... $... $... $...

 

Can't have that dye. Gotta keep truck driver pay low.

I mean I'm doing pretty well, but I face inconveniently running out of hours (maxed day after day after day).

 

Going to be to rainy and snowy to deliver hay, so we're loading up the kids to clean out some stalls for one of my customers.

I always assumed hopper was a heavy trailer.

No wonder those guys are always pushing past me hard.

Picked this up yesterday in New Braunfels



Hauled this brand new 980 today, first time I drove a joystick. It was better than those racing steering wheels that kept articulating till you made it stop.

 

My little dumper load.

 

Didn't take any pictures, but we transferred two loads of US-weight stainless steel tube to a Super-B train going to Edmonton in the yard today. That was some dam(n) fine pipe.
