    Not sure about the legality, but I sure as hell don't like it. I would've ran a chain from the outside of the track to the inside of the deck.

    What's really troubling is that binder handle sticking out like it is and not locked against anything. That can vibrate loose.

    Not sure about legal, I chain from the track to the deck then angle the blade but that's just me.

    To each his own, but I've never seen a ratchet binder vibrate loose, a lot of the time I have them in mid air against nothing with no trouble.

    I've had it happen, unfortunately.

    Of course, I was also driving all spring ride equipment then, with the occasional Talbert lowboy with just a walking beam.

    Vibration is capable of wreaking havoc on just about anything, and I learned real fast to do everything possible to minimize it.

    Today's sweetheart load. And the forklift op was a FNG. Took a long time to get this loaded.

    my load for tonight.... was four straps short but I made it work.
