no worries I wouldn't do that and jeperdize a load, my equipment, or people's safety. I would of just had them sign me out and call another truck or take there truck and run the load with chains lol...

No need, in one post you say you "wouldn't do that and jeperdize a load, my equipment, or people's safety" then you haul a 20,000 pound top heavy hammer 5 miles with just two straps because you don't know how to use chains. I'm clear now.

Improperly secured loads is right there with falling a sleep at the wheel in my book.
Lack of knowledge is no excuse. If you do not understand or have the intuition to figure it out or ask someone for help,.. then the best move is to not risk your career and the lives of commuters on the road with you.
1 mile or 100 miles. My loads are not not coming off. If I have any doubts or questions,.. I have no problem putting my pride out here on TTR and asking for help.
