There are provisions for certain types of non divisible loads or something like that.. they still require half the load weight in securment but they dont follow the same rules

Not with self supporting loads like this. Here are two examples and the exception.

    "
Special Rule for Special Purpose Vehicles

Generally, the basic rules concerning the minimum number of tiedowns do not apply to a vehicle transporting one or more articles of cargo such as, but not limited to, machinery or fabricated structural items (e.g., steel or concrete beams, crane booms, girders, and trusses, etc.) which, because of their design, size, shape or weight, must be fastened by special methods. However, any article of cargo carried on that vehicle must be secured adequately to the vehicle by devices that are capable of meeting the performance requirements and the working load limit requirements."

Sorry about the poor focus. I didn't realize until after getting underway for the day that they were out of focus. I actually think my hands were shaking a bit I was so excited.

The final verdict? HOLY HELL can she pull! I was running 121,000 gross, and got her up to 75km/h before I would have had her at 50 with the old motor. I wasn't even using full throttle most of the time, there was just so much power. Getting up to the 105 km/h governed maximum was effortless, and if she were geared right, there was power there to pull past 70 mph for sure (at that weight).

Once she's all broken in, I'm going to see about getting a Super-B load out west and put her into some real hills.

Haha. I'm VERY happy with both. This being a trucking site, I didn't see the need to share personal relationship things on it, but we had a wonderful time in Banff!

Why wait? The best thing for a new/rebuilt motor is to work the piss out of it, get it into some hills and make it work, get it hot.
