    Am I the only person who looks at what they're loading? I'd have had them on before it ever got put on the trailer. I'm weird like that

    I take it you too haven't had your eyes checked in a while? There's only 3 straps on that load. Not 4 and not 5. One in the front and 2 in the rear. If he/she is just using straps (which they are), then it's not properly secured as there are to be 2 straps within the first 10 feet and 1 strap for every 10 feet thereafter. Shouldn't have been strapped anyways unless it was for safety. Should have been chained in the corners. But it isn't. I don't give a rats behind where the shipper wants me to place straps and where they don't. I will listen to their recommendation, but in the end it's my DL not theirs or anyone else's. They don't like it, tough, find some other schmuck who's willing to give up their license.
