I don't haul a lot of coils, and I've never loaded them, but it's steel. "Legal" isn't enough for steel, no matter what it's form. Cover that whole load weight with securement, especially if you have something larger than 15000-20000 lbs.
You have that thing loaded shotgun. That's why they call it shotgun, is that it's loaded, primed and ready to kill at a moments notice. I'm not saying anything about your driving, but if someone t-bones the trailer, or somehow forces you off the road, that coil has a chance to come loose. And personally, I wouldn't ever take that risk. Hell, I would have loaded it suicide and put 10 chains and 10 binders on it. I trust my driving far more than other people on the road.
