Nope, but we did have to decipher the clicking sounds and press a button in a certain order to say what we wanted to say. Usually one guy listened in on every conversation. Oh the secrets that man had.

Truckdad, whenever I see a cabover like this, the memories come flooding back.
Any of you drive a cabover where if you took a left turn to fast, or especially a sweeping left curve, the passenger door would swing open?
And after a while, you learned to spin your wheel back to the right to slam the door shut again?

Look at the similarity between these two. The first belonged to the guy I worked for from 68-73. 60 model, 262 cummins with T-590 turbo (water cooled!) 10 speed cable shift roadranger, Page & Page susp. single drive. Very quiet inside as the doghouse was well insulated. The newer pic I took from a book I have, guessing its a model late 80s??? I think someone stole our colors!!
