In theory on a permit load I could get around #75,500 payload.
    108,000# gross
    12,000# steer
    36,000# drives (36,000# axle ratings)
    60,000# tridem
My empty weight with half tanks is
    +- 32,500#
The trailer is rated 60,000# in 4' and 70,000# in 10'. I'm still not sold on this aluminum trailer. This is the first I've ever pulled, but it seems really springy.
This 58,000# press took alot of the arch out. I'd hate to see what 75,000 would do.
To tell you the truth this is a big learning curve for me. I put this together with the intention of still mainly hauling general freight. And getting my feet wet on bigger stuff. I'm real happy with the empty weight. If I was just going to pull lumber I could ditch the chains and extra gear and still scale 48,000#.
Baby steps towards being one of the cool kids.:)

When your truck is so long you have to use panorama to capture the whole load.

This is load #10. They sent another driver up with load #9 and he ran into problems. First load I didn't take and they run into problems, lol. Not sure what happened, but I will definitely be taking the rest. But they had me in the city today to pick up grain vacs. Didn't get a chance to take a picture, unfortunately. Had to pick up the septic tanks.

Each 1500 gallon tank is 15,000#. The risers weigh 330lb per vertical foot (according to the shipper/manufacturer). Gross for these loads ends up about 125,000#. A couple of our city guys apparently can't seem to understand how to load trains, and we've had a couple come back overweight either on the drives or on the bridge. I've never noticed because they adjust it before I get my truck under it.

Most definitely. As my skill set grows, I'm in higher demand. Makes for job security.

First load this morning........ 2 chip rollers. A little nervous about getting that back one up on the bolsters. Outside tires were only about 1/3 on the frame and I was by myself. Made about a dozen trips off the machine until I got it lined up like I wanted it. I love having a 28 foot deck on this trailer.
