Make the best time I have done so far up to Little Saskatchewan with Load #11. Talk to the Site Supervisor and he tells me its going to be at least a 3 hour wait (as long as the drive back) to get unloaded because they only have one excavator operator and they planned to have too much on site for the staff to handle (they've always been very organized so far).
5 hours later... and everyone but the excavator operator ####'s off for the weekend, leaving me and him to unload the whole trailer. Zev goes up in bucket, chains tank to teeth, climbs to next tank, tank is lifted off. Repeat with climbing down the sides of these things in order to get down (no ladder, just the bucket).
That all said, this guy was one of the best excavator operators I've ever seen. His finesse with the controls is extraordinary. He was lifting those pallets, risers and deadmen off with the claw attachment (like a big crane game essentially) and we finished the whole trailer by ourselves in under an hour... what took three guys yesterday 2.5 hours to do.
Anyways, more great shots on today:

Left the tank farm and the road seemed like it was really bumpy. After the stop sign built up some speed and it got worse.
Pulled over before I got to the main road to inspect my suspension and found this
At first I thought I pulled up some asphalt but after thinking about it, I must of ran over a oil pile and then when I drove on the gravel / dirt, when I drove on the concrete, it probably compacted it all to make it look like asphalt.
It was a hot mix asphalt tank farm.Dye Guardian Thanks this. -
You have anything to pry that off with? That could easily take out a headlight from behind and or other damage.

It may have bonded to the rubber. A grinder with a wire wheel and a light touch may work better.

I have a shovel that I used to peel it off. If I drove on it longer, it might have bonded but I caught it in time. It came off fairly easily.
MJ1657 Thanks this.
