Haulhand, I agree with you. The car I own is like a freaking boat.. I end up backing into spaces as I misjudge the turn radius trying to pull in...
That or it's pull up, back up, pull up again, open door to make sure I'm between the lines. lol

Someone asked me why I always back in. I told them that is easier to get out when I am ready to leave. I really appreciate you guys. Otherwise I would have to admit that I am nuts.

Had to get some airlines repaired on a stretch trailer. When I got the trailer back, I broke it down and reloaded an excavator in the middle of the night. A Boyd Bros truck had parked next to it. I woke the driver up when I fired up the excavator. I drove it on the trailer dead even in the dark. He asked, "How do you do that in the dark?" I replied, "I'm a driver. This is what I do."

You've done it. You have loaded some machine that sat so tall that you couldn't even see the trailer. No spotter. Perfectly even, 1 shot. Can't even began to explain how.

That's like when you back up to a pump shed to suck it over the tail roll and the rookie that knows everything tells you no no no you're not centered on the skid you need to move over never realizing that I offset the skid so the weight is centered on my trailer. They are the same guys that always need a forklift or a gin truck to move #### over so their trailer isn't laying to one side and can't figure out why the good hands can load tie down and be gone before they get theirs on the trailer where it'll make the trip.

This is me when I'm backing B-trains into a parking spot in our yard. They are in the spot, perfectly straight and even with one another. All without a single pullup. And I have no idea how I did it.

Taking one of the girls along tomorrow. First stop Staten Island to kick these off. Then up to The King Of Chrome by the maybrook truck stop to pickup all my new fenders.
Nice to break it up a bit & nice to have a copilot.
