    As Deere said, it has to do with the friction. I noticed it a lot early on as well, it was hard to get the chain/hook end of the strap as tight as the winch side. Depending on material of course. Steel tube, you can make both sides like guitar strings... but round plastic? Or something that doesn't go right to the edge of the trailer? Always harder.

    Pain in the ### too, because even with a twist, it still loosens if the wind is just right.

    MJ are those overlapping plastic corners on the wrapped skids? I've done that with metal corners but never plastic before. I love this thread.

    Familiar. Do you know where to buy them? My company doesn't have a line on them (for cheap I assume) and the only one's we have are those that come in on loads that ship with them.
