Since U guys are on the subjet of knives I have a question, can a "serraded "kitchen knife be sharpend or are U sol and they gotta be replaced
-
I believe the idea is just to square off the bottom of the blade by putting a good corner on them, because with use they round off.Dye Guardian Thanks this. -
4mer trucker Thanks this.

I personally think trying to sharpen something like that is going to be too labor intensive to justify vs the cost of replacing it.4mer trucker Thanks this. -

Otherwise they'll tend to chip quickly and if you don't catch it you may end up with a 'new' broken carbide drill, oops! -
Thanks1951 ford Thanks this. -
@TripleSix : This:
I keep it sharp like a razor and always in my right pocket. Never know when I'm going to have to cut my seatbelt (or anything for that matter). I feel naked it I ever forget it.
Funny story, this past Christmas, I went on a trip to NOLA with my then fiancee (now wife) and her brother/his GF and I forgot it was in my pocket when we got pulled into customs at the border and didn't declare it when they asked about sharps... long story short, they didn't find it and I can say I slipped a knife past US customs.
Even funnier story, when we stopped at Graceland in Memphis, I still had it in my pocket, and the security guard at the gate noticed the belt clip in my pocket and asked me to drop it into my pocket. A minimum wage security guard at Elvis' house can catch it, but a US customs agent can't. Brilliant.street beater, passingthru69, TripleSix and 3 others Thank this.
