Me too, you can do the job faster yourself than try to fix what they do. Most of them don't even put the strap all the way through the winch, just stuff it in the first slot and tighten it up. :tard:

That would be almost ok if they were doing it for free.

Yeah it's pretty bad. The night guys running drywall local roll them up the same way and don't sweep the deck or anything. Lazy...

I don't keep my straps on the winches anymore but when they come off I roll them up by hand and they look like this.

A few months ago i had a prime driver come into my yard, i was done for the day, ya know how it is. Bumming around the yard keeping "busy" so i tell him ill unload him. (Pvc like what I haul) im walking over the the fork and i hear a loud PING. I look back quick, thinking the guy lost his bud bar and it might be airborne, nope, he was pushing down on the bar, (straps tight) and with one hand he was holding up the catch, and the other was holding the bar. Once he had the catch up, he just LET GO of the bar, and PING into the rub! I go running over, wth! He says, 2nd load ever, and his trainer never showed him how to loosen straps! So i show him how to walk them down. Nice guy, was grateful for my help. Especially when i explained the leagal repercussions of short straping with less then 2 rotations on the spool. "Thats how my trainer does it." Well driver, i said, im not telling you what to do, but time be ###### im doing it right. We talked techniques for a bit and he went with a smile. Hopefully he gets more advice as he goes... his trainer was a joke!
