    Awesome advice. Thank you.

    1) It's sometimes hard to hear over other trucks in the area and the PTO/blower, but I definitely hear it.

    2) Yeah, truck came equipped with all that stuff and I had the joy of the discharge line blowing a small hole in it today. Duct tape works wonders.

    3) When I was trained, the guy showing me let me "take over" after showing me the first hopper. I missed the second one emptying and had this exact thing happen. >_>

Fortunately, I think I'm getting a mileage rate and add pays for loading/unloading. Not exactly sure, but I'll find out soon. They already lost one backup bulk driver to not paying enough for waiting.

I've enjoyed it so far (just done feed salt and ground limestone to this point). It definitely isn't as interesting as running a skateboard, but I'll do it so long as they need a backup driver. More variety is always nice. And the addition to my skillset/resume is always welcome.

What I like most is getting the tank/line pressures balanced, dancing between valves, and getting the hopper to drain strong and steady.
