    so went to this scale the other day north of phx,az on I17 at Montezuma wells exit ramp. this is by far the oldest scale i have used

    I like how you secure those. It's how I do it with a bulkhead up front. I'm not sure if a bulkhead counts as bracing but I think it's more secure and less a pia then a strap around the front. 20160812_171057.jpg

    I pull a hopper every so often and haul corn to a chicken ranch. They have the same old scale. I'll take some pics next time I'm up there.

    I would call it "covering my butt" mostly. The straps cover the required WLL and the bulkhead prevents forward movement of the front pallet.

    I built it up more than I would have due to your examples you've posted. ;)

    Could be. Lots of fine tuning adjustments on them.

    So i got home this morning. Worked on my truck. Did a few things in the shop. Went inside to eat supper and relax and i get these photos from my brother. He is in the military and stationed in Kuwait right now. He says these idiots die everyday, not from guns, but #### fallin off their trucks. Said they dont secure anything here!!!
