    Crane mats.

The excitement might come if they want them delivered to a mud pit.

For you newer guys and lurkers. Crane moves are a big undertaking. They're huge and heavy. They ship the cranes in piece by truck. How many trucks depends on how big the crane is. Anyway, you're talking about what looks like fleets of trucks to move 1 crane. And you need a portable crane to put the big crane together.

MJ is carrying crane mats. Not much to them, but their the first step on a crane move. They put these things down on the ground and make a huge pad or even a road for the crane and really heavy machinery to move on so it doesn't sink into the earth. If any of you is interested in heavyhaul, a crane move is a good way to see them in action earning their keep. And a load of crane mats is usually the first truck in.

These mats are being used as a road for a power line job.

Yea they get the easy deal pull in to small road,50 feet or so. Then unstrap. Back out and gone.
I picked up at a wind farm today that is in the removal stage of equipment. They started taking out the turn radius into they pad roads. All soft mud. Come in the pad road, bear left bear right. Go straight then back to get turned around then back up a 1/4 mile on soft mud road to crane. Ld . up ease out the clutch because you sunk in the mud. Get out if the way, chain her down and haul arse... easy day today
