It is not mine. Company trailer. We have 2 of them. This one is a 2012 and we also have a 2016.

The all aluminum construction helps a lot with my weight since my tractor is so heavy. Empty with this trailer I'm 35,500 lbs.

Haven't had a whole lot of problems with either of them overall. They hold the weight well and we often load them right up to capacity. Almost no arch even when empty so even lighter loads sit nice and flat. Doesn't bow down either when loaded heavy. Empty weight of about 10K lbs without the tarp box. The one in that picture has the tarp box on the drivers side where our other on doesn't have it.

Another thing I like about it is that all the marker lights down the side of it also act as turn signal lights. Makes it much more visible when trying to change lanes since the whole side of the trailer lights up. Also nice when backing into places off a road as all the extra flashing lights add visibility.

Both of our benson steps have the tracks in the deck for use with J plates. I'm personally not a huge fan of them and would much prefer chain pulls in the deck. As such I rarely use them and usually just attach chains to the spools and pockets.

We also have a 48ft Benson spread flatbed. Empty weight of 9900lbs. I've had close to 60k on the deck of that one with my old truck and it rode great.

As we slowly replace our older trailers we are moving from composite to all aluminum Benson's and they've worked great for us so far.

Ok thanks for the info. I know where one is at a good price, it's a 2013. I like the looks of them, just don't know much about benson's.

I'd rather be long or fat than tall! Can't wiggle height much :0

I have time for pics, bc my 6pm sharp appointment turned to 7 when I got here at 530..... Bet I'm not out of here for quite a few hours. Oh well. Charge them more.

    Tractor loads.
When hauling equipment with a cab I like to turn the equipment so the wind will force the doors shut.

If the tractor has a manual transmission you can place it in low gear with the 4x4 locked in, then use 2 chains to the draw bar and wheel lassos over the front wheels. This will keep everything off the paint. DO NOT use this method for hydro equipment.

I also keep some clevises on my truck. I often find holes in the front of the frame that the clevis will fit into and allow the chain or strap to be fasten. This will make it possible to tie to the load safely with out damage to the paint.

The buckets need to be on the deck of the trailer and strapped down. Safer but also keeps the man from looking at you.

Also CHECK TO MAKE SURE THE BUCKET LOCKS ARE ENGAGED. Place the bucket on the ground and tip the bucket forward so the front of the tractor comes off the ground. Do not ask how I know to do this. There are several ways to engage the locks so a "look at it" is not enough.

And then you can discuss covering the exhaust if the machine is a turbo. Cover it just in case someone gives you a hard time.

Remember over 10,000 lbs use 4 chains and cover the WLL, under 10,000 just make sure you cover the WLL. requierments.
