Nope. Plate hangs below left side of the bumper. One of the advantages to a vocational chassis is the ridiculous ground clearance. Its on a hinge so it doesn't get bent if it hits anything on a jobsite off-road. IMG_20170227_105604464.jpg

For my other trucks that had the plate on the bumper I used a hanger that could flip up and run the banner behind it.

I've been told that WY people are just a pain in the ###. Maybe they just meant me.

Here's a picture of the plate hanger I used on my W9. The whole panel the plate is attached to has a hinge at the top. Pic it up and put the banner under. Yes the panel does cover part of the banner but oh well. We've never had a problem with it and we run 5 trucks with this setup for the front plate.

Does this count as one tiedown, or two?

2 tie downs - but half the WLL - so it acts the same as a single chain for aggregate tie down requirements

This wasn't my pickup, but I just had to snap a picture. The whole black thing on the bottom is a fuel tank.

It all worked out. Other than the I-35 mess delaying my return I ran a load today and have a load tomorrow paying a little over $2000 to the truck combined. Now I need to start looking for loads from Midland, TX to pick up Thursday morning headed to OK.
