We've had 4 significant snowfalls already this year. Unusual start to snow season, for sure. We expect it up in the mountains, but not down here.

 

My truck has disks. I just changed out all 6 at 525k miles.

Takes about 5 mins to change each one. Takes about an hour to mess with removal and replacement of wheels.

Sure wish the trailer had them.

 

What did it cost and did you just have to replace pads?

 

The pads were about $80/wheel if I remember correctly.

I did them myself. Like i said dealing with the wheels was the pain in that project.

Bendex has a great how to video. It’s very easy to do. Mine were not worn down completely but I didn’t want them getting close to the rotors and causing damage there so i replaced early. 500+k on a set of brake pads is phenomenal.

 

Also most traffic lights at intersection in USA are after the intersection not before like in most of the Europe.

If we do I haven’t gone to Canada. We run mostly the east coast from Georgia to New York.
