Maybe one day. The load I got now has 5 things on it, 2 chains a piece. Each piece weighs in at just over 7800#.

not sure how his where mounted, but if they're on steel I Beams like we haul them, its just 4 chains, 4 binders, takes like 5 min.

this is how we get them new from CAT: chains just hook and wrap around the I Beam

Get away from a company that hauls cheap freight and you will.

i couldnt tell ya, i've never pulled them, i secured that at the terminal while in training for load securment. Had i been hauling them, i would have moved that back one up so those bolts on the middle of the I beam were centered over that axle. so that the front chain pulled down and back more.

I normally haul the generators that they go into for the most part, they end up like this most of the time:

When I pull the engines though, they have tie downs in the frames. Not big enough to get the hook through, but all my chains have a hitch pin clip on one end just for that reason. Like I said, the engines I haul on my RGN are a little too tall for a step/flat.

Wasn't implying your company was bad, just some are known for hauling cheaper freight, like my old company for example.

    We're all still learning.
