I gotcha. That must be nice having the 4' drop lumbers because of those flaps on them. Probably works great for those loads that are 4 feet high and the trailers length. I have to use my 8 foot drops for loads like that since my 6 foot drop steels dont have a flap on the end. O well not my truck so I cant choose my equipment. Makes for a good work out LOL
Post your flatbed load pictures here

The first one is poles that are supports for solar panels. The second is one of those crap loads of rolled paper. The third is a coil. The forth is 55 foot lengths of re-bar that I dropped off in northern IL that were going to be used for making the base for wind mills.

Rolled paper on a flat? Where did that come from?

VA I think? I cant remember its been a good while. The plant where I loaded probably does 4 flats to every 1 van. throw your strap and put your lumber tarps on and go. I hate hauling that stuff, Super heavy

That picture with the coil is my nice gated/locked up parking on the weekends. In the winter I just park over by the building and run a cord out to the truck all that for the price of nothing.

Macs are the only way to go if your going haul dense and heavy stuff. Thats a mill roll weighing in at around 78,000 dont remember exactly now. When I was calling salesmen to get a new trailer and would tell them what I wanted to do most flat out said no way. The one said he would call Bud and he might be able to build one. I talk to Mac they ask if I wanted it in a flat or a drop!!! I went with a flat. I miss that job and trailer. I left it and my driver there and now running stuff for the gas industrie here in Pa. But he didnt get the truck
