Too bad Lone Star does all their outbound stuff... so it's already at $1.50 mile

Seriuously tho, there were at least 20 Lone Star trailers in there loaded up and ready to go. Never saw 1 get picked up the 2 days i was around there

 

SHC when you haul an OD load does the agent handle all the permits? Are they pretty good about getting them all in order so you can grab them, pick up the load and roll? Just curious thanks.

No, you are responsible for ordering permits, escorts, etc. Trust me, you wouldn't want most agents ordering your permits even if they could.

Sorry, I was busy loading my schween onto the truck. It takes four hours to tarp that #### thing and then I have to pay for overweight/overlength permits and pull a whole nother trailer to put freight on.

 

My multiple stop return trip yesterday. Had to load and unload the forklift 3 times to load the other equipment. I sure am feeling it today :smt119

 

I guess my inch and a half of pure furry cant compete with the big dogs!!!

O.K. Im not sure if this is how you post but here is my first flatbed load...I forgot to take photos without the tarp .... that baby took me about 2 1/2 (securing and tarping)hours 35 bungees and some rope(later down the road) didn't rip my tarp and didn't lose the load so I am pretty happy
