    What are you talking about, the spread on the trailer wheels???

    That would be so we can get the full 20,000# for each axle. We can haul 40,000# legally on a 10' 2" spread.

    That's one thing I didn't like about my 53ft cal legal Wilson the over hang behind the back axle sucked I started getting a lot of over weight Tikets on that back axle I could scale 48,000 but it couldn't go past that back axle

    I usually don't pull too heavy, I just watch what im putting on the trailer and where, but yes if I put everything in front of the back axle it'll work, First week I had it I loaded Hay on it 1800 pounds over on the spread, I drug that from Yankton SD to the Indianapolis Zoo, from then on I watch

    Les are there 2 chains and 3 binders on those coils or did you use 3 separate chains per coil?

    NVM, looked again, looks like you used 3 separate chains per coil.

    My back axle is 41' so I can still go to California with it open

    In Kansas a 10'2" spread is considered a tandem 34000 same in Texas. You need a 12' spread in texas to have 20000 on each axle

    since when? as long as you have 10ft 2in 20,000 per axle. if not those scale masters aren't paying attention!
