according to some on another thread your about 20 chains short on that load driver!!! And also where are your neat "X" straps over the top that serve no purpose, and your trip chains, friction mats and chain protectors!!!!! Am I going to have to send you back to school?:biggrin_25522::biggrin_2559::biggrin_25525:

Maybe one day you'll graduate to a full sized trailer!

You sure you don't mean 8' spread vs 10' instead of 10 vs 12? I've only seen one 12' spread ever and it was an O/O's reefer. I know a lot of states that don't allow any weight advantage to a short spread (<10') but I thought western Canada was the only ones that didn't recognize the a 10' spread.

Sorry but a 10' 2" spread gets you 20,000 allowed on the axles in ALL states. A 8' spread is considered a closed tandem.

I think some states give you more for an 8' spread. I've seen some 8' spread grain hoppers so there must be a benefit somewhere.

Bridge law a 8'2" spread you are allowed 38k. Not the full 40 but you should not get the tire wear fo the 10'2" spread. And on a 42' trailer it looks better proportioned IMO.
