Just got off the phone with a broker he said that fuel has gone down so has the rates I said ok last month I was getting $2.20 a mile so let's go $2.00 he said it again I can't pay that I said it's only dropped $.50 a gal to $3.50 a gal so my math shows it now cost me $.10 a mile less in fuel not $.50 cents

I love hearing the "well fuel has gone down" line from a broker. 99% of the time I'd be willing to bet he hasn't lowered the rate to the shipper he just sees it as an excuse to take more off the top

Here's mine this week it's a sewer treatment plant for a large man camp in Colorado. Deadheaded a winch truck to Calgary to get it it's 11 wide and I'm 15 10 tall weighing 106000 lbs.

Finally got the truck all washed up and removed the stainless rock guards from the headlights. I think it looks much better now
