They really need to add a few more truckstops along 68/70 here in MD. I'm setup for the night in Hagerstown but man is this place a cluster ####. I guess it's gonna happen like that tho when there are basically no truckstops between WV and Baltimore (TA by the port was all filled up when I spoke with another driver who was there)

I usually go over to Hancock, right by the 70/68 split. There are better places, but it ain't bad.

Well I went by my Pocket Truckstop Directory and it listed this one as the only large lot. It's not bad, I'm just not too fond of the tighter parking lots. I'm always worried someone is going to back into my truck while I'm sleeping, thus making it hard for me to even fall asleep.

If you get there early enough, you can park on the hill, close to the building, otherwise down in the hole and have to walk up the hill to the resturant. In the hole ain't the greatest parking, but there is usually spots available. Resturant isn't bad, either.

Not that it will help you sleep, but having a wide load on gives a newbie van driver something to aim for. When we used to haul for Agco, I van driver (I think US Express) hit the boom on a 12' wide sprayer on the way to the port. Huge pain in the ### to get it fixed before delivering to the port. Sleep well!
