I can get a broker load of wide tractors 1100 on 550 with 3 stops, BUT they'll pay for the permits
Post your flatbed load pictures here

Made it 16 miles into the state on I10. Cop says you get that from the auction in Houston?Yes sir I did.
Calls his boss and says got another one from the auction.
Sat the rest of the day waiting for a new permit.
Yes it stated on the permit needed a rear car for that ld.
Also read Pa. rules about blades. Says you need guard rails on the outer arms of the unit.
I've seen a few trucks that have them mounted on them, but most of the times no covers. -
What state's require the guard rails around the blades of dozers?
-
Check the Pa. rules. I believe it says the arms must have guard rail covers on them
-
Ok, Here is the rule. Went out to the trk. and got Pa. rule sheet.
section 179.11 special vehicle load restrictions
Rule C a dozer with an attached blade over 12' in width but no greater than 15' may be hauled upon the highway if a traffic protector guide rail device is securely fastened to the dozer. -
So is that a PA only deal? I see dozers with guard rails around the blades here in PA but I don't see them much anywhere else that I can recall.
-
I think just a Pa. thing.
never read it in the other states rules.
But some times I speed read and I'm blind in one eye.. Haha -
Thanks, I've always wondered about that.
