Strangely enough it's the same year as the International, 1993. It's got a 3406 Cat and a 10 speed and has 500K on it. It's in very good shape for it's age, it's completely unmolested, aside from a worn driver seat, the interior is spotless. Even the A/C still works. I need to find some time to get it in the garage and start pulling it apart. However, I'm not going as far as the last one.
SHC and The Challenger Thank this. -
Well here is that load of Packrat collapsed storage containers I wa loading for Cincinatti. Once they got them loaded and I looked, I noticed that half the brackets were missing bolts. The guy said that most of them had bolts broken off in them so they couldn't bolt them on all the way. I told him the load was unsafe an it would shift an he said "not much" ... So I rolle the truck ahead 5 feet and hit the breaks and it slid forward about a foot. After that I told him they needed to fix the brackets an he said that he couldn't so I just had them take em off and I'm now looking for another load. I was going to chance it and just go with them, but I couldn't drive knowing that they might come off or smash into my cab if some car decided to slam on its brakes.

good call, but whats the rest of the story when you made them unload it?
-
i think that was a good call even if you went end to end like on hay bales i don't think they would have stayed if you had to anchor the brakes
SHC Thanks this. -
Nothing, the guy that loaded me agreed and said he wouldn't haul it either. He was hoping that he could get their corporate office to ship just 9 (3 high) but they wouldn't. It wasn't a big deal just kind of hurts because it was going right back towards home. But I'm sure I'll work my way back east somehow.

And that is the 1 thing I do not like about this trailer, there are no pockets or anything to hook to on the front. The rear has them, but none on the nose.NWMAXI Thanks this.

the new revolution steps we just got are the same way, mine has them but the brand new ones don't.. does't make sense to me -
