Taking it in to get 2 53's for Boyd. Dropping one off at Clayton and get to lug the other around.

Typical crane move (which I do a lot of); left-side crawler @ 23,000 kg (50,000 lbs) on the front, three counterweights @ 15,000 kg (34,000 lbs) on the back. Oh yeah, and a couple hundred pounds of plywood.

cat 345 and my truck 03 pete with 475 c15 and 10spd
aiwiron Thanks this. -
Seen a 12 axle trailer this morning. Huge tank (for lack of better term) sitting on top of it with a pusher truck on the back. This was on 58 heading N.W. out of Barstow. Looked like it was parked for the weekend.
What killed me is there were no jeep dollys under it. Just a tandem axle day cab hooked to the deck with 12 axles spaced evenly at 8 or 10'. The pusher was just a long gin pole looking set up from front bumper/truck frame to trailer. I'm guessing all axles turn? -

Seriously though, there is a lot of sitting time, and they can be a little bit if a headache at times.
I had 3 cops yesterday blocking a whole intersection and ramp for me to back around a corner then go straight ahead, as there was no way I could make the right turn. Obstacle course with signs, trees, etc. Next thing would be to grab the impact gun and start removing stop signs etc!
Good old Tx DOT routing....

So is $8000 not enough? I don't know anything about long hauling...I am an hourly driver and the company takes care of all that stuff....I am glad too...I am no good at negotiating!
