I thought about buying one of those. They have a bunch for sale in Northern California, but they all have flatbeds on the rear frame. Easy to change tho and then u get the nice long frame![]()

That was kinda the plan I had, buy one and have the engine and trans rebuilt, redo the entire frontend and then take it to ARI and have a 130" sleeper installed. Including the cost of the truck, it was going to be about $65,000 for everything. Which isn't bad, but then I started looking at gliders and so-on. I'm still in the Star Car for now tho

I had a cab-over stretched, after redoing everything I had 35-40k invested in a completely rebuilt truck. It paid for itself in 6 months hauling long I beams, while others had to run with permits I was not since the front overhang, for every load they hauled I had two in.
60 foot long beams pay good money, running permit loads with normal haul time night or day.CAXPT, SHC, LostOne9 and 1 other person Thank this. -
