Just curious why not take off the bucket?

 

Got out of the office and spent the last 2 days hauling skidded coils across town from a river terminal to a local customer. I hauled just shy of #700,000 in 14 loads today. I'm beat, needless to say, the Coors Lights are tasting good this evening.

 

If that's all you ended up with coming out of an RB auction, I would say that you're a lucky man. Normally they try to fit #10 of $#!+ in a #5 sack.

With my truck being so heavy empty (45k) it put me at 85k. If I took the bucket off, being under overweight permits, it would be a divisible load & I couldn't haul the bucket unless its attached to the machine.

In addition to this, the tires are OD by 3" on each side so I was getting an OD permit anyway. It's only 9'7" wide. That's the long answer....

The short answer... I'm lazy

 

Gotcha so divisible applies to weight as well....gotcha
