Sounds like a plan, I think a few of our regulars here took care of the problem. If I end up on our reefer account next week I am going going blame it on you lol, and there's a good chance the way last week went.

LOL reefers are not that bad, made tons of money at it and help out a buddy that has them from time to time.

I was a guy that could care less what was behind me, just making money.

What is the legal reason they can't have them?

Your exhaust pipes can not pass under the fuel filler caps, combined with the regs that state in a horizontal system it must empty out beyond the body structure. Too run a setup as long as mine, you need the fuel tanks mounted under the cab, not under the sleeper and the filler necks positioned at the front of the tanks. Few trucks are built with the tanks mounted in such a way.
I got that lesson Sept. 12, 2001 at the eastbound Boise, ID scale with Corporal Robinson, of the Idaho State Patrol, from a Federal DOT officer.

Actually, not as bad as it could have been. Cpl. Robinson did not write a citation, but he did escort us, as we were OOS, back to Trebar KW, in Boise, to get it fixed. From the time we stopped for inspection, until we were rolling again, was 16 hours, under a "hot" load.

Well bad enough, but could of been worse.
Me I never did like the looks of what I call leg pipes.
Have seen some that blended in well with the trk.
Me though, will never on any unit I drive.
Heck I even hate those #### grass burner exhaust..

Each person has their own style and choice..

But way better than a trk I saw long time ago with 4 stacks in the back..
