You pretty much nailed it on the head. They were all worried based on the old stories. The first trucks have EGR & DPF, and they have had no issues. Throw in the DEF system on top and you could probably run the exhaust through the sleeper and be okay.

 

about how much data does that app use since i havn't put xm in my truck yet

My fiancé just went thru this with Verizon. Her radio at the office broke so she used Pandora Radio app and listened to music for 2 days (say 10 hours total) and it used 1GB. She has a 2GB plan so luckily I caught it before it went over.....just had to buy a new radio, but was cheaper than the overage charges

 

thanks, i use my phone as a hot spot for my laptop and have 6GB but don't want to go over that cost alot

 

i love pandora too. its does use a lot of data though

 

I think anyone that complains just wants to complain and there is a good chance they're ignorant

 

I took a picture of this guys load today. It is plastic pipe, but I dont think he has enough securement. I counted 8 stake pockets between straps over the top of the load, that is about 16'. Shouldnt he have another strap over each bundle?

 

If it was my ld. I would put more straps on it.

 

Well I'd have Atleast spread the 2 belly straps on the back bundle apart and threw 1 more over the top of both, needless to say guys they don't lose loads like this are lucky!!!!
