Yep...gotta be more picky. I was perfectly content to never get married. I just happened to meet the right girl & the rest is history.

 

I think I know where one's sitting for sale. It's been there a while. It's only a single drive axle though.

The trick to finding a girl is to find one that makes similar money and has something going for herself, then you have to find one that doesn't mind you being gone. Or...... You can settle and give her half in a few years.

Took me 10 years but I finally found her. Lots of dating, looking in the wrong places, and heartache. It just happened that I knew her since we were kids, but she got married and moved away. Got a divorce and moved back and we hooked up. She works as a case manager for the state with mentally disabled clients.... so she's already trained to deal with a truck driver lol

She is busy with her own stuff, so me not being around doesn't affect her at all. That's the key!! I found the ones that don't work tend to get bored easily and wander off or are the ones who need constant attention. And keep away from the bars.... And the hardest part as you get older is the ones that are single, are single for a reason (crazy, cheaters, party too hard) so weeding them out is a chore.

 

wait till they decide they deserve to retire at 40 and let you support her and then fuss about you being gone. welcome to my world

 

Ohhh mine is like that...her problem now is I am home. I'm invading her territory now and she is not happy.
