I was thinking about starting to use some rope on my tarp jobs, I think if I had an assigned trailer I would use almost all rope, it doesn't break as smack you in the face.

BTW, I did end up adding bungees to the 2 foot row of Ds, in an X pattern, to cut down on the billowing. I have used rope, before, with mixed results. The best rope I have found to use, in my opinion, is 3/8th California Truck Rope, orange and black. -
Add boat mooring cleats under yourtrailer rails at 2 feet on center and you have a way to secure thetarp with the rope, rubber cords were always my choice as well onspools, did my own cords and could cut it as I needed it. -
I like to make up a fake shipper or location on a forum and then wonder how many rate cutters there are chasing the fairytale freight! -
All my pickups are made at Acme.

Just had another idea. If you ever want to get back at an a-hole shipper, find out their direct number and make a post about some $4/mile freight and post his info and that he needs trucks!
