Good eye! That is a 384 (we have a half dozen of each, 641-646 are 384s and 649-654 are 386s if I remember correctly). Jeff (white Pete 384) is a good guy. I think winter may be his least favorite season solely because it means he has to wash and polish his truck more, oh yeah, and he can't use his boat!

Nothing, both have C-13s w/ 2007 emissions standards. Hood length is the only difference. Thanks for the compliment, the drivers of those trucks actually had input on the decals (or lack-there-of). Some guys chose specific color schemes, and some preferred to have only the company name and MC# and the essentials, no extras.

I just laugh when I see people say you can't haul oversized loads with a conestoga. If I didn't want to strap the kit fwd I can remove it. Except for the bulkhead I can roll the whole kit off the trailer by removing 2-4 bolts depending on the brand. I take them off at least once a year just to check the rollers.
If you don't have a forklift some companies sell a stand, or you could make one.
