If your going to spend the money on ramps make sure you get some rated for 40,000lbs minimum.

Heres a pic of the load I took to Fairbanks, AK. If you look at how I strapped this down as the road is very rough, I used 2 gut wraps on each layer (4 layers) and then I used a belly band over the top 2 layers and one for the bottom 2 layers. I only had to tighten once after load settled and then it didnt move. Photo is taken on the north side of Fairbanks at the Alaska pipeline view spot.

the four piece are much more expensive -
4 8'=16' ramps they're the only way to go
