    Nope,but i do haul those tankercans for a living.
    I know how they are build.
    If the owners see those straps over the tank,they will file a big claim for damages.
    Doesn't matter if he put chains at the front and back.:yes2557:

    You know it's better to ask or in this case post here......I'm sure 1 of us will beable to help as well as we can....I probably would've done the same thing honestly, a friend of mine is on the middle of a freight claim because one of his "drivers" chained something that should have never had chains on it.....possibly cost him $11k all his driver had to do was make a 30 sec phone call and no issues instead "he knew what he was doing"

    I wouldn't worry about it. Just have the straps towards the ends where the tank is strongest and don't go all He-Man when you tighten them up. I've had the tank owner tell me to do it that way too, and with one tank hanging off the back of the trailer. I do chain the bottom as well though.
